Not only is this illegal (outside of a casino), it can be downright dangerous. Urban survival, unfortunately, sometimes depends on money. There are some things the trash; the world just can't provide for the moment. Sometimes these things must be purchased. In order to purchase these items one must have money. It's hard to gather;earn money when living off the grid but that doesn't mean it's not possible.
There are some things you can do LEGALLY to earn a few bucks but it either calls for a lot of hard work or it doesn't pay enough. Therefore, some HoBoTrailists seek a more profitable means... gambling. More specifically - cards.
